A map of the 20 miles I did on my bike today. Would have been 32, but I got a flat tire. Fucking kids with their fucking bottles. Little shit bags.

So it’s been forever…

Haven’t been on a bike in almost a week, although the activity has been elevated so I’m not too bummed about that, it also helps to know that since my journey started almost 3 months ago, I’ve lost 47 lbs. I’ve lost nearly 50! That blows my mind.

Before and after pics coming eventually.

The month in review.

Do far a really good day. 2 bike rides and 1,771 calories in (likely to change but doubt I’ll even touch 2,500, probably closer to 2,200 or less.

This month, I averaged 2,300 down from 2,400. And I also found out I lost 35 pounds since day 1.

It’s nice to be able to put a number with the mirror results, but I’ve got a looong way to go.

Thanks for sticking with me. And thanks for sticking with my blog.

35 pounds!

Just got on a scale and saw that I lost 35 pounds in 10 weeks. I am soooo happy for these results I can’t even explain my joy.

The times they are a-changing. Bob Dylan said that once. I’ve worked hard but hard work gets easier everyday. I said that. Just now. Go me again!

Here’s the ride I did today. I think I can safely add 2 more miles as I had to bike to the Bike shop before embarking. Good times. Google said it should take an hour 40, but it was closer to 85-90 minutes. Go me

Edit: it was actually right at 85 minutes. 15 minutes quicker than Google advises, and that was with a quick stretch stop at Olin.

No updates in awhile…

Hey all…Just a quick one.

Thursday: 1,825 calories in and 1 bike ride.

Friday: 2,125 calories and 2 bike rides

Saturday (kids’ birthday) 2,960 and no bike rides (it was looking mighty stormy when I left for work so I left the bike at home. Of course, it was beautiful when my lunch time rolled around, but those the brokes…)

Sunday: 2,712 calories in and no exercise (this has been a trend for some time, of course it’s not usually preceded by a Saturday with no bike rides…)

Monday: So far 1,826 calories and a nice walk with the fam on state street. This is before dinner and future whiskeys to come my way. So essentially, I’m going to have to bounce back strong tomorrow, which I know I can. I think the last couple of days were pretty good for me. I bucked the diet, but I didn’t take in too many calories. In fact, the family got ice cream today and I didn’t, so the cheat days were kept in check rather neatly.
